DISH This pair of dishes in the form of shallow boats with
turned-up ends are each placed on a reeded collet foot.

BOWL A popular stock item of Durbin's workshop during the
1950s. The handles of cherubs astride branches on this pair
of bowls are from casts secured on the closure of Omar
Ramsden's workshop. London 1954.

design with a little reeding to the base, the rims slightly
flared. The hardwood bases set with a central circular ivory

The centre of the dish applied with with a model of a
secretary bird, which was originally surrounded by an
inscription, now removed. London 1969.

matrix, now defaced, indicates that it was made for The
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Architectural Association.
