Made in both sterling sterling silver & silver plate initially by Walker & Hall and from 1965 by Elkington. This example made by Elkington in silver plate with nylon handles. TEA SERVICE from the 'Embassy' range commissioned by the Ministry of Works in 1962 for use in British Embassies. In 1964 Labour won the election and cancelled the order.
